The Road to Acceptance
Your student is accomplished and talented. But today, with acceptance rates at top schools around 3-5%, their talents are only the starting point. We’ll help your student craft a college list, write and revise their essays, build a strong resume, and prepare for interviews. We will create the best possible narrative based on your student’s accomplishments.
After decisions are released, we’ll walk them through their options so they can make the most informed and stress-free decision. We are excited to see them accepted at their top choices!
What We’ll Do
We will help your child craft the most compelling application possible. If they don’t get into their top three choice, full money refund on us. We are that confident.

We will discuss each student’s interests, aspirations, and geographic and cultural preferences to customize a list of reach, target, and safety schools.

We work with students to brainstorm, draft, and revise their essays, from the first line to the finish line. For top candidates, essays set them apart. We will make sure your student tells the most compelling stories possible.

We read and deliberate over students’ application materials and write up a mock admission file. We want the students to know how a real admissions committee will likely perceive the materials. This is a Lux exclusive—we want your student to know their strengths and weaknesses upfront, and we’ll help them close any gaps before they click submit.

We conduct mock interviews to prepare students for admissions interviews. All of our mentors have recently conducted college interviews, and some of us are current interviewers. We will give a realistic expectation of what admissions interviews are like to help your student make the best possible impression.
